Royal Society Lecture
Chris McDonald, CEO, recently teamed up with UK Steel to give a lecture to the Royal Society of Chemistry in London. The theme of the lecture was innovation in the steel sector.
The evening also provided the opportunity for UK Steel to set out to RSC members the causes and depth of the recent 'steel crisis' and the current state of trade.
Members were also presented with UK Steel's view of hopes for the future of steel; that of a rejuvenated and vibrant sector, innovating and developing new products and establishing itself as a place for inward investment.
