Industry Experts to Collaborate on Developing Novel Casting Powders
Technical representatives from Sidenor, ArcelorMittal, Imerys and Swerea Mefos are visiting the Materials Processing Institute on 11th/12th October 2017 for the first project meeting regarding the NNEWFLUX project. This is a ERFCS (European Research Fund for Coal & Steel) collaborative research project which will develop and demonstrate novel casting powder technologies.
The project will involve development work using both the pilot casting facilities at the Institute and ArcelorMittal, together with industrial demonstration activity at Sidenor.
