The 4th Industrial Revolution - Panel Discussion
Chris McDonald is on the panel of experts that will be discussing and debating the 4th Industrial Revolution at a panel discussion organised by The Common Room and taking place at Durham Miners' Hall on the 24th October.
The 4th Industrial revolution describes the exponential changes to the way we live, work and relate to one another due to the adoption of cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things and the internet of Systems. The debate will focus on the economic and social challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
The discussion will be chaired by Liz Mayes, CEO of The Common Room of the Great North, who will be joined by other experts on the panel including, Beth Farhat, Regional Secretary of Northern Trades Union Congress, Gerald Moore, a Philosopher of Technology at Durham University and Alison Reynolds, Strategic Human Resources and Development Consultant.
