Free Steel industry Webinar: Industry 4.0 and new plant and process Innovation
Chris McDonald, Materials Processing Institute, will be presenting at this free webinar which offers an introduction to some of the topics that will feature at next year's European Electric Steelmaking conference. His presentation will highlight some of the latest and emerging technologies in industrial digitalisation and their application to the steel industry, with a particular focus on the application of digital technologies to existing process plant and equipment.
Additionally, Mike Walsh, Albion Steel, will present on the significance of electric arc steelmaking, focusing on critical aspects now and in the future.
The webinar is organised by IOM Communications on behalf of The Iron and Steel Society of IOM3 and chaired by Richard Thackray, Lecturer in Sustainable Steelmaking, University of Sheffield.
The webinar will run from 14:00-15:00 BST on 16th September 2020.
