In this series of webinars Teesside University Hydrogen Innovation Project is partnering with the Materials Processing Institute to present and discuss the impacts, challenges, and benefits that hydrogen can bring to support decarbonisation.
This first webinar will focus on the role that Hydrogen can play as an alternative fuel source for the Steel and Foundation Industries. The session will present the stages of the steelmaking process that fuel switching could be applied and discuss the transferability of the technology.
Further webinars in this series will cover the role that hydrogen can play as an alternative reducing agent in primary steelmaking and also the structural impact that hydrogen can have on steel materials.
