Energy Decarbonisation leader to present at Hydrogen Innovation Conference
Dr. Hichem Hakka is presenting at the Hydrogen Innovation Showcase today in Manchester where he will be providing an overview of the Materials Processing Institute’s activities to support energy and process decarbonisation.
Dr Hakka is the Group Leader for Energy Decarbonisation and part of the Research and Technology leadership team at the Institute. At this Hydrogen Innovation Showcase, organised by Innovate UK, Hichem will be outlining some of the innovative solutions and collaborative projects the Institute has been working on that are driving impactful change and paving the way for a sustainable future across diverse industries.
The Materials Processing Institute is at the forefront of energy and process decarbonisation, offering solutions to support foundation industries and other sectors in their advance their sustainability objectives. This includes expertise in cutting-edge technologies such as hydrogen, biofuels, electrification, and fuel switching, complemented by robust testing and de-risking methodologies and capabilities. A client specific approach addresses the unique challenges of sectors including metals, cement, and chemicals, aiming to reduce carbon footprints and enhance operational efficiency.
