Driving forward sustainability and innovation
Akikat Makhmotov works with clients to help them meet their sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.
Background: A career to date shaped by working in Petroleum Geology, Reservoir Engineering, and Renewable Energy. Initially working on offshore projects in the North Sea and Azerbaijan, delivering cutting-edge technology projects for multinational companies. Moving into the data interpretation segment of upstream Oil & Gas, consulting with and supporting clients.
More recently managing business portfolios and working as a subject matter expert and business developer across multiple countries.
Current activities: A focus on sustainability and decarbonisation to support and develop the Institutes expanding clients base through materials and process innovation and improvement.
Moving forward: To leverage experience in technical and account management to expand the Institutes client base in decarbonisation and sustainability services.
