Steel industry training supports supplier of molten metal measurement systems
Heraeus Electro-Nite International continues to benefit from our bespoke steel industry training with the latest course for them being delivered over three days at their Head Office in Belgium.
Key areas covered on this course were:
• Steelmaking Metallurgy for beginners
• Integrated Ironmaking and Steelmaking
• EAF Steelmaking
• Secondary Steelmaking and Casting
This course was developed specifically for Heraeus to provide its employees with a fundamental understanding of steelmaking and to support them in developing their careers with the company.
The training included metallurgy for beginners’, new steelmaking technology for both integrated and electric arc furnace steelmaking, and continuous casting. The course discussed the theory behind the technologies used and highlighted many real-life examples to demonstrate how they are applied in reality.
The Materials Processing Institute provides both online and in-person steel industry training. These courses are based on the major technologies currently in operation.
