Find out how Intellectual Property can be used to support businesses
Learn about Intellectual Property at this very successful workshop facilitated and run by the Intellectual Property Office (IPO). This workshop has been delivered to a wide range of industries, business advisors and professional bodies for more than 10 years.
The workshop aims to give participants a good overview of intellectual property and how it can be used to support and benefit Start Up businesses and SMEs.
THE IPO IS THE OFFICIAL UK GOVERNMENT BODY RESPONSIBLE FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP) RIGHTS INCLUDING PATENTS, DESIGNS, TRADE MARKS AND COPYRIGHT.
This workshop is FREE and particularly beneficial to Start Up businesses and SMEs as the focus is to ensure the delegates gain a better understanding of intellectual property to benefit their business regardless of the industry or sectors that they work in.
On the day delegates will:
- Gain a good understanding of trade marks, patents, copyright, designs and confidentiality
- Develop sound practical skills you can apply to a business environment
- Be given access to the full suite of support materials
